- Yinchuan (银川; Yínchuān Shì) - Famous above all for the pyramidal tombs built at the time of Western Xia dynasty.
- Guyuan (固原; Gùyuán) - Resting place of a 62 meter tall Maitreya Buddha.
- Qingtongxia (青銅峽; Qīngtóngxiá) - It houses the 108 Dagobas.
- Shizuishan (石嘴山; Shízuǐshān) - Near Mount Helan and Lake Shahu.
