the Northern Quebec is a region of Quebec to Canada covering the northwestern half of the province. It is the least populated region of Quebec and the northernmost region of the Francophonie. Its population is mainly made up of indigenous people.

The language of the non-native inhabitants of Nord-du-Québec is French.
