There is no road connection between Nunavik and southern Quebec. The closest roads are the Transtaïga road which ends at the Caniapiscau reservoir near the 55e parallel and the James Bay road which ends in Radisson at about 250 km from the twin villages of Whapmagoostui and Kuujjuarapik.

Nunavik is connected year round by air and all the main villages have an airport. The region is also connected by sea in summer and fall.
