In central Norfolk, on the banks of the Elizabeth River, you'll find this facility, whose exhibits are mostly designed for children; the admission price includes admission to the USS Wisconsin, a battleship built in 1943 that served in the Pacific during World War II. Visitors can choose between a "Golden Ticket" ($ 35.95) and a "White Ticket" ($ 15.95); The former entitles you to take part in a guided tour of the USS Wisconsinthat you would otherwise have to visit on your own. The Nauticus does not have its own car park; those who cannot come by public transport can park cheaply e.g. in the very large parking garage of the MacArthur Center (500 East City Hall Avenue).Open: daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (outside of summer closed on Sun mornings and Mon all day).
