Nowopołock - city na Belarus, in Vitebsk region, on the Dźwina, located 10 km west of Połock.
Characteristic
The settlement was established in 1958. Nowopołock was granted city rights in 1963. The city is a rapidly developing industrial center after the construction of an oil refinery. Chemical industry, means of transport and building materials. Higher technical school, museum.
