Nyírbátor is a city in Hungary.
background
First mentioned in a document in 1279, the city received market rights from the king a year later Ladislaus IV. The city is run by noble families, and Nyírbátor is the focus of the region economically and culturally. Today many buildings from yore can be visited and the opportunity to take part in cultural events.
The city is located in the eponymous Nyírbátor small area.

By train
Of Budapest From there you can drive to Nyírbátor. The ticket costs 1st class HUF 3920, 2nd class HUF 3416. Depending on the train connection, price differences are possible.
In the street
From Budapest you drive east on the M3 Nyíregyháza and then via Nagykálló to Nyírbátor. The route is approx. 260 km long. Some of the roads are chargeable.

- Báthori castle palace. The castle palace, like the city itself, belonged to the family Báthori until 1613. In 2006 the palace was reconstructed, now it houses exhibition rooms and a restaurant.
