Oberndorf am Lech is a village in Bavarian Swabia and forms the current end point of the Via Danubia cycle route in Swabia. The Eggelstetten district belongs to the municipality of Oberndorf.

The nearest train stations are in Rain am Lech and in Genderkingen. Both are approached every hour in the direction of Ingolstadt and Ulm. At the weekend, trains stop in Genderkingen only every two hours.

Donauwörth station is a hub station with long-distance traffic connections. Regional trains go to Nuremberg, Augsburg, Ingolstadt, Regensburg and Ulm.

Oberndorf is on the B2 about 12 km southeast of Donauwörth.
