Tourist Attractions

  • 350 year old chestnut at the cemetery
  • Parish Church of Saints Peter and Paul - The church was built in 1774 as a baroque building. It has a high altar that is well worth seeing.
  • Jakobsberg - From the 265 m high Jakobsberg you have a beautiful view of the Rocchusberg near Bingen and the low mountain range Hunsrück and Rheingau Mountains. A pilgrimage stairway with 14 helpers leads to the monastery on the mountain. The Jakobsberg Monastery is still inhabited by Mission Benedictines. There is an education and guest house. Men can take part in monastery life for a few days. The vine arbor at the monastery is also interesting.
