background
Ouzoud is in the valley of the Oued Tissakht in a plain of the Middle Atlas at about 1060 m. The place is scattered between fields and forest. The center of the place are the waterfalls, which fall over red rocks in several floors, a total of 110 meters. The banks of the waterfalls are covered with fig trees and jungle-like lianas.
There is a footpath to get to the top of the falls and a steep path down to the right of the falls. At the bottom you can cross the river with a small ferry and get back up the normal way via the stairs.
