The Paklenica National Park (Nacionalni Park Paklenica) is a national park in the region of Zara in Croatia.
To know
- Velika Paklenica canyon 14 km long and 500 to 800m wide.
- Mala Paklenica canyon 12 km long and 400-500m wide.
Geographical notes
The two highest mountains within the paco are Vaganski vrh with 1,757 m and Sveto brdo with 1,753 m.
How to get
By plane
L'Zadar airport (ZAD) is half an hour drive from Starigrad-Paklenica.
By car
TO Trieste pass the former border of Pesek / Kozina, continue to the Croatian border where you can take thehighway until the Maslenica exit. From here continue for 15 km on the coastal road in the direction River. The alternative is to go out to River (Rijeka), continue on the coastal road.

Below are the opening times and entrance fees:
- From November to March: adults 1 day 30 kn, 3 days (within 3 days of purchase) 60 kn, 5 days (within 3 days of purchase) 90 kn, children from 7 to 18 years 20 kn.
- From April to October: adults 1 day 40 kn, 3 (within 3 days of purchase) days 80 kn, 5 days (within 3 days of purchase) 120 kn, children from 7 to 18 years 20 kn.
