Understand
The Czechoslovakia ratified the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The Czech Republic sent UNESCO its notification of succession on March 26, 1993. The first protected sites were inscribed in 1992.
The Czech Republic has 12 World Heritage sites, all of them cultural.
