Pedersöre is a municipality in Ostrobothnia in Finland.

Pedersöre is a bilingual municipality in Ostrobothnia. There is a Finnish minority with a Finnish-language school Edsevö. However, the Finnish and Swedish children share a school building. Municipal administration is located in Bennäs, where there is also high school and high school education.

Getting to Pedersöre
The nearest airfield is Kokkola-Jakobstad Airport in Kronoby about 30 km from Pedersöre. Vaasa Airport is approximately 100 km from Pedersöre.
Bennäs railway station has a bus connection with Jakobstad.
You can get to Pedersöre by train by buying a ticket to Bennäs railway station.
From Nykarleby to Kronoby, Highway 8 (E8) goes through Pedersöre in Bennäs and Edsevö. Main road 68 starts from Jakobstad through Kållby and Esse to Evijärvi, i Ytteresse Branch Regional Road 747 which goes to Kronoby. From Jakobstad, Regional Road 741 also goes through Bennäs and Purmo to Kauhava, and in the northeastern parts of the municipality, Regional Road 749 starts from Nykarleby through Sundby and Sandsund.
From Jakobstad there is a cycle path along Stamväg 68 (Kållbyvägen). National cycle paths 68 run from Jakobstad to Bennäs and through Kållby and Esse to Evijärvi, but there is no cycle path along the entire trail.

ATMs are located at Neste petrol station in Edsevö.
Accommodation
You can stay at Hotel Polaris next to the petrol station in Edsevö. This is the only real hotel in the municipality. However, there are hotels in Jakobstad 10 kilometers from Edsevö.
Cottages can be rented wise Solhaga and Esse.
In Purmo is the camping area SFC-SEXSJÖ.

To see
Esse church in Överesse, the altar is unusually located there which is worth seeing. The lost stone in Överpurmo, Finland's largest moving block from the ice age.

For those interested in sports there is Anders Wiklöf Arena-ishallen available to the public at set times. You can also see in Ytteresse when EIK plays a match.
- Lappfors ski center has nice ski trails in the winter and a small toboggan run.
In Överesse, one is held every two years Esse water festival with programs such as a floating fabric competition, where you have to vote for the finest floating fabric.
- In the summer arrange Pedersöre Theater annual performances at Åliden in Nederpurmo.
You can procure food and other things in village shops in the different parts of the municipality.
