Northern Plains of Ghana is a region belonging to the territory Ghanaian.
To know
Much of the region is part of the traditional trade routes with Burkina Faso. It is characterized by the savannah with baobabs and villages with the typical huts developed over the centuries.

Urban centers
- Bolgatanga - The city, colloquially called Bolga, rises in the valley of the Volta Rosso.
- Wa - It is the main center of the Wala ethnic group.

- Mole National Park (Mole National Park) - In the western savannah area, the park is the largest in the country and offers shelter to a varied fauna, monkeys, elephants, hippos.
- Sirigu - Scenic village in the northeastern region of the country.

- "Lunar" Bongo - Unusual rock formations. Climb the hills and find the huge rock on top of three other smaller ones that acts as a drum when it hits us.
