Port facilities
Piraeus has several natural harbors:
- 1 Kantharos. The largest harbor basin in the west. The metro and train stations are just a few meters from the passenger terminal Proastiakos. Ferries run from Kantharos to most of the Greek islands, cruise ships dock on the south bank of the port, and cargo ships on the north bank.
