Celtic city and Roman temple district on the Martberg above the Moselle near Treis-Karden. - On the Gallo-Roman temple complex Martberg, high above the Moselle between Pomerania and Treis-Karden, one can find significant traces of the life of Celts and Romans from more than 2000 years ago. In the heyday of this cult complex (around 200 AD) there were numerous temples here. After years of excavation, parts of the temple complex have been reconstructed.
