Potsdam-Mittelmark is a region (German: country district) in the German state Brandenburg. The region is named after the largest town nearby, Potsdam, which itself is not part of this region.

Between Dessau and Potsdam and Berlin Hbf there is a Regional Express every hour, with a station in Bad Belzig. The north-south line through the area from Brandenburg has been decommissioned. Through this region runs the European walking route E11. This route runs from the Hague to the east, currently the border Poland/Lithuania. The route can be partly found in this region on internet and comes from the south of the region Wittenberg, through the Fläming via the villages Möllensdorf, Pülzig and Senst. The route enters the region via the forests and the village of Raben and continues via the Hagelberg (highest point of the Fläming) and Bad Belzig to Lütte, Ragösen, Golzow, Michelsdorf, Lehnin to extensive forests that lead to Ferch, on the Schwielowsee . Then again through the woods to Caputh and finally to Potsdam.

On the E11: It is difficult to stay overnight in this region up to Schwielowsee. In 2010 overnight in Coswig in the Wittenberg region and in a guest house in Golzow (Anger 1, 033835-41543, guest house with restaurant). Furthermore, several times in succession in Bad Belzig, where a remarkable number of rooms were offered for rent above and behind the ice cream parlor.
