How to get around
Many shops are within walking distance.
By public transport
If you are a resident of locations along the Grace Bay strip, a free shuttle will likely be offered to take you to certain areas along Leeward Highway. Some of these places are: Yoshi's, Calico Jack's, Jimmy's Dive Bar, local shops, and the Graceway supermarket.
By taxi
Taxis can get expensive if you are traveling from the heart of Grace Bay to the areas surrounding the Turtle Cove Marina. The cost is approximately $ 6 / $ 8 per person. If you find yourself along the resort strip (Seven Stars, Club Med Turkoise, Grace Bay Club, Point Grace, etc.), you are in great walking distance to a handful of restaurants, pubs, shops, and entertainment activities (eg scuba diving, sailing, wakeboarding).
By car

There is no need to rent a car, as there are public shuttles and buses, but for families wishing to travel to dinner and other attractions, it is recommended. On Providenciales is the Leeward Highway which, at 8.9km in length, is by far the most important road junction in Turks and Caicos.
