Stay healthy - Pysy terveenä

This article is tourism topic.

En route staying healthy is important, especially when traveling in areas where the doctor has a long way to go.

When traveling, you should use common sense. If you have a permanent illness, you should definitely see a doctor before you travel, in addition to looking closely at what your travel insurance covers, bring as much personal medication as you need along the way, and copies of your prescription. See country-specific restrictions on what you can take to each country you plan to go to - In Japan for example, some cough medicines are also banned!

First aid

You should be more careful when traveling than at home and it is a good idea to take a small first aid kit with you no matter where the trip takes you.
