The Samuel-Bédard house located at the Louis-Hémon museum, one of the rare settlers' houses to still exist today in the Quebec
  • Louis-Hémon Museum  – Museum gathering documents relating to Louis Hémon and presenting works of art on the subject Maria chapdelaine. The museum is made up of three buildings: the Maria-Chapdelaine pavilion housing a temporary exhibition during the summer season, the Samuel-Bédard house which is a heritage site where Louis Hémon lived and the Contemporary pavilion housing various exhibitions related to Maria chapdelaine, Louis Hémon or literature. The famous sculpture Woman and Earth of Ronald Thibert sits in front of this last pavilion.
