Quintay is a village in Central Chile. Easily done as a daytrip from Santiago or Valparaíso.

Buses to Santiago and Valparaíso. Colectivos to Valpariso from the main square cost CLP$1400 .

Mostly walkable.

An old whaling station that once employed almost 1000 men is now an [1][dead link] open air museum]. Entry CLP$500.
Do
There are two beaches.
- Playa Grande is complete with a resort and a golf course.
- Playa Chica to the south is deserted.
