Airlines and Destinations
Ramon Airport is served by domestic flights (from Tel Aviv and Haifa) as well as international low-cost, scheduled and charter flights from Europe and Russia. A final flight plan is not yet available. The airport will immediately take over the capacity from Eilat Airport of approximately 60 passenger movements per day plus Ovda movements of 2 to 10 movements per day.
The following airlines and destinations are expected from now on:Israir
Israel's third largest airline, Israir, currently serves Eilat with its fleet of ATR 72 and Airbus A320 Tel Aviv Ben Gurion, Tel Aviv Sde Dov and Haifa Airport. Flights from Sde Dov and Haifa use ATR planes, while flights from Tel Aviv are operated on ATR or Airbus planes. Israir also offers seasonal charter flights to Ovda Airport that will be relocated to Ramon Airport when it opens, including regular charter flights from Paris.
Arkia Israel Airlines
Arkia is Israel's second largest airline and has Eilat flew to as long as there was an airport in the city. Today Arkia is the largest carrier at Eilat Airport with daily flights from Tel Aviv Sde Dov, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion and the airport Haifa. Arkia's domestic flights are operated by ATR 72, Embrear 190 and Boeing 757. With a large aircraft order with deliveries in the coming years, including more Embrear jets, Airbus A320, Airbus A330 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Arkia is expected to operate more domestic flights with Embrear jets and potentially international flights to Ramon Airport with its international fleet will offer.
Ryanair
Europe's largest low-cost airline, Ryanair, currently flies from around 14 European cities - Bratislava, Krakow, Kaunas, Budapest, Milan, Brussels, Baden-Baden, Frankfurt Hahn, Danzig, Posen, Bremen, Düsseldorf-Weeze and Warsaw - to Ovda airport. There will be two weekly flights from each city during the winter season, and these flights may be expanded to include year-round flights and new European destinations. Ryanair has shown interest in stationing planes in Israel, and with Ramon Airport being the only destination in the country, the airline could quickly become one of Ramon's major airlines.
Ural Airlines
The Russian airline Ural Airlines offers three to six flights a week from Moscow to Eilat and currently lands at Ovda Airport. These flights operate year round except the summer months, and the airline could increase capacity as Ramon Airport is perceived as the gateway to southern Israel as well as the resorts of Egypt and Jordan nearby.
EasyJet
The leading low-cost airline EasyJet has evaluated the possibility of flying to Ramon Airport.
WizzAir
WizzAirs currently in the winter flight schedule only from Warsaw, Katowice, Bucharest, Riga and Prague to Ovda will switch to Ramon Airport after the opening of the new airport.

The seasonal service is expected to move from Helsinki to Eilat to the new Ramon Airport.
SAS
It is expected that the seasonal service from Stockholm to Eilat will be relocated to the new Ramon Airport.
Terminals
A terminal with stands for 8 long-haul and 9 turboprop planes is planned.
