Urban centers

  • Ağdaş - Capital of the district of the same name.
  • Ağstafa - The city is located on one of the main east-west Azerbaijani railway lines connecting the capital, Baku, with the rest of the country.
  • Bərdə - Ancient capital of Caucasian Albania, located on the Tartar River.
  • Daskashan
  • Goranboy - Capital of the district of the same name.
  • Gäncä (or Ganja) - The city is the second largest city in theAzerbaijan and rises within the country, halfway between Tbilisi is Baku.
