- Astara - Capital of the homonymous rajon and a few steps fromcity of the same nameIranian.
- Biləsuvar - Capital of the homonymous rajon with a considerable agricultural potential.
- Cəlilabad - Capital of the homonymous rajon which took its name from the Azerbaijani writer Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.
- Lerik - It is located in the Elburz mountain range.
- Lənkəran - There are sandy beaches in its surroundings, as well as being home to several national folk artists.
- Masallı - Capital of the homonymous rajon.
- Neftçala (or Neftchala) - In the city there are the palace of culture, the regional study museum and the gallery museum.
- Sabirabad - Capital of the homonymous rajon, renamed in honor of the poet Mirza Alakbar Sabir.
