Rhine terrace route and Rhine cycle path on the Rhine terrace between Nierstein and Nackenheim.

This cycle route runs on the Rheinhessen (left) side of the Rhine between Worms and Neck home parallel to Rhine cycle route and touches kilometers of uninterrupted vineyards with many charming wineries in the wine villages Herrnsheim, Osthofen, the vineyards of Bechtheim, Mettenheim, Alsheim, Dienheim, Ludwigshöhe, Oppenheim and Nierstein. Between Oppenheim, Nierstein and Nackenheim, the Rheinterrassenroute runs together with the Veloroute on the same route, but then separates again to visit two more important wine towns with some pretty wineries, Nackenheim and Bodenheim, before joining the Veloroute Rhein again from the center of Laubenheim turns to. On the Rhine terrace you can experience a wonderful view of the Rhine valley.

Sights: In Herrnsheim a magnificent palace and palace garden. Bechtheim the basilica and Keltenstein. Oppenheim the city under the city.
