Rorschacherberg is a municipality in the canton St. Gallen in the Switzerland above the Lake Constance and above the lake town Rorschach.

By plane
The Sankt Gallen-Altenrhein airport is 1 km from Rorschacherberg.
By train
The Goldach train station is from the western part of the Rorschacherberg, the Rorschach city train station from the central part and the Rorschach main train station from the eastern part is barely more than 1-2 kilometers away.
By bus
The Rorschach city train station can be reached by Postbus up to twice an hour.

Postbuses are the only public transport available within the community. It is almost impossible to get around without having to cover a few meters in altitude. Three stations of the Rorschach-Heiden-Bergbahn are located in the eastern part of the municipality.
Tourist Attractions
There are four castles in the municipality, whereby the Wartegg Castle and the Wartensee Castle worth a quick visit. The former is at the east end of the municipality, the latter also, except that it is a few meters higher. The best thing to do is simply let the locals explain the way.

You can go swimming in the lake in the Goldach lido, as well as in the bathing hut and the lido in Rorschach. There is a football pitch and a hard court on the premises of the Rorschacherberg multi-purpose hall. Bicycle tours in hilly areas with a view of the lake are possible. One of the major events that take place in autumn is the extended local show for small animal breeders. Also called "Chüngäli Usstellig" in colloquial language.

There is a bakery at Paradiesstrasse 53. At Bachwiesstrasse 3 and Wiesentalstrasse 11 there is a small shop each. However, if you need something more than bread and butter, you should rather go to Rorschach or Goldach.

Since the harbor buffet in Rorschach closed, the nearest nightlife options can only be found in St. GallenFrom time to time, farmers' parties take place in the multi-purpose hall. However, one should be aware that these are only for the rustic type.

A long walk around the tub pond and a subsequent visit to the natural park of the St. Annaschloss is recommended as an excursion.
