Cascada (Waterfall) La Paz - Laguna Hule
The drive from the waterfalls leads along a slope overgrown by rainforest towards Cariblanco. In Cariblanco, a well-marked path branches off towards Laguna Hule.
Laguna Hule - Cascada (Waterfall) del Toro
From the Laguna Hule you drive about 2 km back to the small town of Angeles. From there a very bumpy gravel road leads to Colonia del Toro (the path can only be mastered with 4x4). From Colonia del Toro continue on a paved road towards Sarchi. After a few kilometers along beautiful nature there is a parking lot on the right, surrounded by a large yellow wall.
Cascada (Waterfall) del Toro - Sarchi
From Cascada del Toro you continue towards Sarchi. This path is littered with huge potholes. After heavy rain, they are usually camouflaged by puddles.

The Laguna Hule is a crater lake surrounded by rainforest. At the edge of the crater there is a small restaurant with a viewing platform, which is more geared towards local customers. There is also a campsite next to it. The way down to the lake can only be done on foot or by motorcycle.
