Ružomberok (German: Rosenberg; Hungarian: Rózsahegy, Polish: Rużomberk) is a district town in the Central Slovakia, in the Waagtal about halfway between Žilina and Poprad. The city is one of the centers of the Liptov and a good base for trips to the Low Tatras.
