Saint-Brieuc is a french City in the department Côtes-d’Armor in the Brittany.

Saint-Brieuc is the capital of the Département Côtes-d'Armor and the Arrondissement Saint-Brieuc, and it is also the administrative seat of three cantons.

The current city goes back to the Welsh monk Brieuc (also written Briocus), who settled here in 462. Since this is one of the founding fathers of Brittany, the city is also a station of pilgrimage Tro Briezwho follows in the footsteps of the seven holy founding fathers.
