Santa Cruz is a city on the central California coast. The small town offers beautiful - by American standards, however, quite lively - sandy beaches and is a location of the progressive University of California, to which it owes its student flair.

- Natural Bridges State Beach, on the west end of W Cliff Dr. Protected sandy beach in the west of Santa Cruz with a natural rock arch in front of it.Price: $ 10 parking until 4pm, then free.
- Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, 400 Beach St.. The most famous attraction of Santa Cruz is this long sandy beach with an adjoining amusement park.
- West Cliff Drive. West of the Boardwalk, this road always runs along the coast until it ends after 3 miles at Natural Bridges State Beach. The road is flanked by sidewalks, making it ideal for walking and cycling.

They really do exist: fishing in and around Santa Cruz. Today, however, it is insignificant, and most of the seafood that is served on the plate in local restaurants comes from elsewhere.
