Santa Vitória do Palmar is a city in the southeast of Rio Grande do Sul.

Santa Vitória do Palmar has 31 352 inhabitants and an area of ​​5,244 km². The city is surrounded by two important lakes in the state, Lagoa Mirim and Lagoa Mangueira, in addition to other smaller lakes. It is one of the main rice producers in the state.

The municipality was known as the southernmost place in Brazil, but it lost this title after the emancipation of Chuí, on December 28, 1995.
