Schaan (Schaa in Alemannic) is the most populous city in Liechtenstein.

Geographical notes
Schaan is the northernmost municipality in the country. It borders the capital to the south Vaduz, to the east with Triesenberg, and to the north with the municipalities of Eschen is Gamprin. As natural borders it has the Rhine to the west which separates it from the Switzerland and to the east the Three Sisters mountain range. Schaan also has four exclaves and two enclaves.

By plane
There are no airports on the national territory.
By car
By car, take the Buchs exit on the Swiss A13 and cross the Rhine river towards the Liechtenstein and Schaan.
On the train
The Schaan-Vaduz station can be reached by trains that run only at certain times of the day.
By bus
The Liechtenstein bus takes you to the train station, which is an interchange point for all bus lines.

Night clubs
Nightlife in Schaan consists of pubs, bars (including a sports bar) and nightclubs, all of which are mostly frequented by locals.
- The Central Garage, Bahnhofstrasse. One of the most interesting and exciting bars in Schaan. It has a unique setting with several pool tables, and serves excellent local and foreign beer. Inside, live football, tennis and all other sports are shown on TV
- Rhomberg's Bäckerei (Didi's Wurststullen). The infamous is worth a taste "Fleischkäs-Brötle".
