Silandro

The market town 1 Silandro (Italian Silandro) is lying in Vinschgau and between the Reschenpass and Meran. The landmark of the place is the around 90 m high church tower of the parish church Maria Himmelfahrt - the highest church tower in Tyrol.

The community of Schlanders has over 6,000 inhabitants and is the administrative seat of the Vinschgau district community.
