The Similan IslandsThai: หมู่ เกาะ สิ มิ ลัน, Mo Ko Similan, spoken: mùu gkɔ̀ sì-mí-lan) is a group of islands in the Andaman Sea, about 70 kilometers off the coast of southern thai Mainland. It has no permanent population. Together with two other islands, it forms the Mu Ko Similan National Park ((อุทยานแห่งชาติ หมู่ เกาะ สิ มิ ลัน). The Similan Islands are often considered to be among the best diving areas in the world.
