Soper's Hole is a city in Tortola.
background
Sopers Hole is the whole bay between the West End and Frenchman’s Cay. West End is often incorrectly referred to as the "Sopers Hole". There is the ferry terminal with customs and immigration authorities. Road Town ferries make a stop on the way to the US Virgin Islands and on the way back as well. The ferries to Jost Van Dyke also leave there. The asphalt road ends at the ferry terminal. However, there are residential buildings up to the westernmost tip of the island. The road to get there is just a better dirt road. It runs along the coast and you can continue there until you have reached the good road at Long Bay / Apple Bay on the north coast
beaches
- Smuggler's Cove. Smuggler's Cove can only be reached via a dirt road. This secluded bay on the northwest coast is protected and has warm, clear, calm waters. There is good diving there and you can sometimes see turtles.
