Spencerport is a small town on the edge of the Greater Rochester-Area in the US state new York. The place is particularly interesting from a tourist point of view for families with children, who can learn something about modern agriculture and dairy farming on the Springdale Farm.

The origin of the place lies on a farm property acquired by Daniel Spencer in 1804, which gained importance as a settlement area after the Erie Canal was opened in 1825. The Village Spencerport was officially founded in 1867.

City dwellers can learn something here in a vivid way about modern agriculture - especially about dairy farming. Springdale Farm is the first in the region to purchase a fully automated milking system. In addition to cattle, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, poultry and rabbits can also be seen. Flower garden, greenhouses, picnic pavilion and playground.
