Stratford is a city in the southwest of Ontario in Canada and for that is that Stratford Festival Theater known.

The city was after Stratford upon Avon named in England, and the local river is also called the Avon. Shakespeare's plays are performed in the most famous local theater.

By plane

The nearest airports are the international airport of Toronto Pearson, Kitchener-Waterloo International Airport and London.

By train

By bus

2  Greyhound, 219 Frederick Street. Tel.: 1-519 273-2160. The local depot is about 3 km from the city center, so you have to take a taxi. When the bus arrives in Stratford, taxis are already waiting at the depot.

For visitors to the Shakespeare Festival, the festival offers a non-stop bus from Toronto and Kitchener to Stratford for performances on select weekends in July, August and September. The rides can be booked at the Festival Box Office at 1-800-567-1600.
