- Drostdy Museum
The Drostdy Museum Complex consists of several buildings that are separated by Vortrekker Str., At the north end of Swellendam. The main building is the Drostdy (administrative seat from 1747), on the other side is the old prison and a series of buildings in the Cape Dutch style, in which everyday utensils from the old days and modern handicrafts are shown. There is also a cafe with small dishes or homemade cakes, which is highly recommended, except when a bus is being dispatched.

Coming from Swellendam: the N2 to the junction of the R324, in the direction of Suurbraak / Tradouw-Pass / Barrydale. Through Suurbraak (Zuurbraak), 16 km from Swellendam, at the junction of the R324 not in the direction of the pass but straight on in the direction of Heidelberg. After a few km, the junction and the rest of the way are signposted. Accommodation in the park: mainly camping sites, plus there are 3 bungalows.
