Szczytno (German: Ortelsburg) is a historical place in the voivodeship Warmia-Masuria on the Masurian Lake District, between the Allenstein Lake District and the Sensburger Lake District. The place is most popular for its marina Big house lake known. In the place are the restored remains of a brick Gothic order castle.

The place is on the road from Olsztyn to Ruciane-Nida. The international one is on the outskirts Olsztyn Airport.

Szczytno lies between two lakes. Every year in July, a knight tournament takes place in the ruins of the former knights' castle. There is a Masurian Museum in the tower of the town hall. There is an international airport near the city.
