Draisiner traffic takes place on the lower Queichtalbahn. The branch line connects Landau in the Palatinate With Germersheim on the Rhine.
Between Bornheim and Westheim the route can be ridden for 12 kilometers with rented bicycle thrusters.
Attention: The drasine rides are very popular. Early booking is necessary.

Route
The route starts on 1 Starting point in Bornheim, Hornbachstrasse 11. You can start from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The journey then goes via the Dreihof, Hochstadt, Hochstadt-Wald, Zeiskam, Lustadt stops to the Westheim-Endspurt stop and on to 2 final destination Westheim-City at the Bauer kiosk. The route length is 12 km. In the afternoon from 2 p.m. the trolleys drive these 12 km back in the opposite direction to Bornheim. This way there is no oncoming traffic. At every stop it is possible to take a break, to do this the draisines have to be moved off the tracks.
