Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac is a city of Bas-Saint-Laurent to Quebec to Canada.

Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac is the capital of the regional county municipality (MRC) of Témiscouata in the east of Quebec. The city is in fact made up of two sectors, Cabano and Notre-Dame-du-Lac, which until 2010 formed two distinct municipalities. The municipality also includes two hamlets: Rivière-Creuse in the Notre-Dame-du-Lac sector and Route-du-Sault in the Cabano sector. The city is located on Lake Témiscouata which stretches over 45 km long. In fact, it is the second largest lake on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec.

Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac is located 40 km northwest of the border with the New Brunswick on Route 185 which becomes Route 2 in New Brunswick, which notably passes through Edmundston. The other end of route 185 is located at Wolf River north-west of Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac where it links Highway 20 which goes to urban centers in Quebec, including Montreal and Quebec. Part of Route 185 is now Autoroute 85. Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac is also located on Route 232 which connects Blue River to the southwest and Rimouski to North-east.
