The territory of the Coral Sea Islands ((in)Coral Sea Islands Territory) is a group of small tropical islets and reefs in the Coral Sea, northeast of Queensland.

There is no economic activity or permanent population, only a staff of three or four to manage the weather station on Willis Island.

Geography
The total area of the territory is only about 5 km2. The atolls are scattered across more than a million square kilometers of ocean.
