Thourout , in Dutch Torhout, is a municipality and a city of 20,000 inhabitants from around Bruges in Belgium. It is the oldest town in County of Flanders. Its main attractions are Wynendaele Castle, Pottery Museum, Mustard Museum, Aertrycke Estate, Groenhove Wood and Oude Smelterij Children's Farm.
