- 1 Burana Tower eight kilometers from the city (Leave the roundabout south of Tokmok and turn right after six kilometers.) – The Burana tower is the vestige of an 11th century minaret. The minaret originally measured 45 meters, it only measures 25 m today, the summit having collapsed during an earthquake. It is possible to climb up the tower, the staircase alone is interesting. A museum explains the history of the place. Funeral statues around the tower are worth seeing!
