Between wine and history (Oltrepò Pavese Orientale) it is an itinerary of the Ecomuseum of Vine and Wine of the Eastern Oltrepò Pavese, through which you can learn about both the local wine production and the various historical assets of the area.
Introduction
It is a circular route that allows you to get to know one of the typical products of the area, the historic Buttafuoco wine, by visiting the club of the same name. The stages also include visits to churches, castles and museums through which to learn about the millenary history of the area.
How to get
This itinerary begins at the Club del Buttafuoco, a perfect example of an underground or basement cellar in the sandstones of the Oltrepò hills, with classic vaults and exposed brick grooves.
