security
The Federal Care Center East ("Traiskirchen Refugee Camp", also: Initial Reception Center) is located in the urban area and has been extremely overcrowded since the strong refugee movements in 2015. Up to 5000 people are housed here under poor conditions. This also means that refugees and asylum seekers are on the move in the urban area. However, this does not pose a threat to the population or visitors, even if this is often communicated in the media in the current politically heated mood in Austria.
health
- Baden State Hospital. The Baden State Clinic is located just a few meters west of the municipal boundary.
