Trevi is a city in Umbria. Municipality of the province Perugia with 6,987 inhabitants. An important center in Roman times thanks to its location on the Via Flaminia.

Trevi was inhabited by the Umbrians in ancient times. Later it came under the rule of the Romans. In the Middle Ages it belonged to Lombardy. After a short period of independence, from 1438 it belonged to the Papal States. The Risorgimento came to Italy in 1860. Numerous olive trees grow in the area around Trevi, one of which is said to be 1700 years old. The oil obtained here is known for its good quality.
