Trouville-sur-Mer is a seaside resort in Calvados in Normandy established at the mouth of a coastal river, the Touques. It is located on the edge of the English Channel.
Understand
She faces Deauville, posh resort, from which it stands out with a more popular style. From Deauville, Trouville-sur-Mer and the Butte de Fréville dominate the landscape. The two stations compete with each other, even if, ultimately, they do not target the same audiences. Trouville-sur-Mer tries to attract rich tourists, but also to satisfy less prosperous audiences.

By train, some SNCF corals provide service in 2 h from Saint-Lazare station in Paris (especially those at 8 a.m. and 12 h). Otherwise, a match to Lisieux with a TER is necessary and may extend the journey by half an hour. A line TER provides service from Deauville to other seaside resorts as far as Caen.
