Trégastel is a town french on the Pink granite coast in Brittany.

Understand

Seaside resort, Trégastel has about 2,400 inhabitants, but this number is multiplied by five in the summer season.

Trégastel has two covered alleys (Kergüntuil and Île Renote), a dolmen (Kergüntuil), two menhirs (Sainte Anne and Trémarc'h) and a Gallic stele (moved to the Tourist Office).

  • 4 Gouffre Island  – A high pile of rock in which the waves rush with noise. Accessible only when the tide is low, be careful not to get trapped.
  • 5 Rabbit Island  – A pleasant island covered with grass, it is more accessible than Le Gouffre, but remains inaccessible at high tide. Under the large rock you will find the remains of the troglodyte house that Zantig had built in 1930, an original ex-Foreign Legion that has become legendary among locals and tourists.
