Polish-Slovak-Czech tripoint - at this point the borders of three countries meet: Slovakia, Czech and Polish. The nearest towns are: Herczawa (NS), Czerne (SK), Jaworzynka (PL).

Drive

When at the end of Jaworzynka (Trzycatek), after about 800 meters, we will reach the destination (tripoint website). The point where the borders meet (marked with a small granite pillar under the bridge) can be conveniently reached by bicycle, wheelchair for the disabled or a child's stroller, or on foot, and you can leave your car in the parking lot. That's it for the Polish side.

Attractions

The Czechs provide fun under the barbecue shelter and a small meadow. On the Slovak side there are: a roofed resting place, a barbecue shed, benches and 75% of the Polish-Slovak bridge. As on each side of the tripoint, there is a granite obelisk with the country's emblem. The tripoint is a fairly popular target on geocaching. It is located in a small valley. In Slovakia (just across the border with Poland) there is also a hill (approx. 600 m above sea level) from which you can observe the border crossing point, it is the mountain closest to the triple point.

Trivia

  • The exact confluence point is in ... the stream, hence there are three obelisks, not one.
