Tourist Attractions
- 2 Tswaing meteorite crater (Tswaing crater), at Soshanguve (90 km from Johannisburg, 40 km north of the city of Pretoria and). The crater was formed 220,000 years ago, has a diameter of 1.3 km and a depth of 100 m.In contrast to a similar crater in Arizona, the Twaing is still allowed to enter. Salt was supposedly mined there until 1956 (Twaing means "place of salt" in the Twsana language), today it is a nature reserve and there is a visitor center.
- 3 Wonderboom Nature Reserve (Wonderboom Nature Reserve). The attraction is an approximately 1000-year-old fig.
